Hello families,

My name is Sandy Joseph, I am the owner and creator of Joseph Tribe Collective. I was born and raised in Haiti. I came to the states at the age of twelve years old. While completing my schooling in high school I developed a passion to help others with learning the English language. I would volunteer on Saturdays to help others learn the English language. I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Biblical Counseling at Liberty University.

After becoming a mother I became passionate about teaching the Creole language to my children. It is through those desires and passions I was able to create JTC. I would love to teach you and your children ages 3 and up the Haitian Creole language. I would love to teach the English language to your children ages 3 and up the English language while preserving the Haitian Creole language.

Hey There! My name is Morgan Deravil. I’m 26 years old and living in Lexington, KY. I wanted to share with you some background history about me: 

- Special education and General education teacher 

- I teach citizenship classes: I teach the citizenship test that requires written and oral.

- I aid and assist with completing the I-134A USCIS application for immigrants of Haitian, Nicaraguan, Venezuelan, Cuban, and Ukrainian descent to enter for 2 years.

- I'm a certified World Corps leader where I can host and or assist with applying for refugee status in the USA 

- Mental Health Case Manager: this is where I assist families and children with locating community resources and provide assistance with social skills and coping skills.

My name is Margarita V Sutherland. I am a highly motivated bilingual instructor originally from Puerto Rico. I previously worked in Jefferson County Public Schools as an elementary school Bilingual Associate Spanish Instructor. I have also taught Spanish to Homeschool students at a Co-op and taught English as a Second Language (ESL) to migrant workers of all ages.

I would love to tutor students of all ages and skill levels in Spanish and English as a Second Language (ESL) to build their fluency and proficiency in their language skills. Adult language learners also welcomed.

My name is Arthur Lemons III and I am a lifelong learner and educator. In 2013 I earned my B.Sc. in Psychology from the University of Kentucky, where I focused on behavioral research and application. In 2019, I completed my M.Sc. in Psychology where I focused on developmental and organizational psychology. For the past decade I have been a business analyst and data consultant for private, public, and government sectors of industry. I love gathering and sharing information. ☺️

I have a sensory style of teaching that people gravitate towards because it amplifies comprehension. I love working with "Challenging" students and individuals that feel like they have difficulties connecting the dots when it comes to math, reading, or science. Some of my greatest joys have come from creating custom creative approaches which help people accomplish their academic and personal learning goals.

One of my secret techniques to teaching is "Association". I have the ability and will to translate and deep dive into the interests and hobbies of my students. Once a learner can visualize the concepts in their mind through association every concept that follows becomes simple.

I am available to tutor elementary to college level students in English as a Second Language (ESL) and Reading Comprehension.

Graduated from Centre College with a self-designed major in Diversity Studies- social science focus; completed my MPA at Morehead State University. I have served as an ESL teacher and tutor; I have experience tutoring Japanese and English learners, along with Spanish and Latin. I have also assisted adult learners prep for their citizenship exams. 

I have worked with students from many walks of life and ages, from Pre-school to the nursing home, we’re all students of life. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your goals. My specialties vary from social studies, psychology, sociology to general studies, sports management and physical fitness.

 Hello, I'm Elizabeth! I have been teaching in various capacities for 5+ years and it has been very rewarding seeing students learn and grow. Although my formal teaching experience comes from working with adolescent and adult learners, I have engaged with younger scholars to improve reading, reading comprehension, and memory skills. My degree is in Middle Grades Education with specializations in mathematics and social studies. I currently work with adult learners seeking their GED credential which includes mathematics, language arts & reading, science and social studies. As such, I am able to tutor students of various levels in a variety of subjects. I also have experience working with English language learners and can tailor my tutoring sessions to their needs.
